As an alternative, you can synchronize replication with all replication partners.<\/p>\n<p>Membership in\u00a0<strong>Enterprise Admins<\/strong>, or equivalent, is required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at\u00a0<a id=\"ctl00_MTCS_main_ctl01\" href=\"http:\/\/go.microsoft.com\/fwlink\/?LinkId=83477\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Local and Domain Default Groups<\/a> (http:\/\/go.microsoft.com\/fwlink\/?LinkId=83477).<\/p>\n<h4>To force replication over a connection<\/h4>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Open Active Directory Sites and Services: On the\u00a0<strong>Start<\/strong> menu, point to\u00a0<strong>Administrative Tools<\/strong>, and then click\u00a0<strong>Active Directory Sites and Services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>In the console tree, expand\u00a0<strong>Sites<\/strong>, and then expand the site to which you want to force replication from the updated server.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Expand the\u00a0<strong>Servers<\/strong> container to display the list of servers that are currently configured for that site.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Expand the server objects and click their\u00a0<strong>NTDS Settings<\/strong> objects to display their connection objects in the details pane. Find a server that has a connection object from the server on which you made the updates.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click\u00a0<strong>NTDS Settings<\/strong> below the server object.
